Our michelin-stared chef Sean Hope has a great Cookery Demonstration menu planned for Tuesday the 16th of March 2010 at his traditional village pub, The Red Lion Inn at Stathern, Leicestershire where he recently filmed with BBC2's 'Hairy Bikers'.
Sean’s friendly passion and enthusiasm is displayed to fine effect as he demonstrates how to prepare and cook the finest and freshest ingredients that he has sourced from local suppliers - and wherever possible, from the Red Lion’s very own allotment. Following the demonstration Sean will return to the kitchen and with his team cooked the same menu for your lunch. Which will be served accompanied by wine chosen by joint owner Marcus Welford who was recently rated as the 'best up and coming landlord' by Olive magazine.

This demonstration will have an emphasis on spring ingredients and sean will be using asparagus, salmon ,lobster and mango !
The day begins at 10am with coffee, after which Sean demonstrates this specially chosen seasonal menu and then prepares lunch for all guests, which is served with a complimentary glass of wine at 12.30pm.
Sean provides a continuous stream of time-saving hints and tips on menu preparation, cooking and final presentation during the demonstration. Guests leave with a copy of the demonstration menu recipes for the featured dishes.
